Prayers will be sung 7:00 p.m., Wednesday January 29 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 30 at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 737 Bannerman Ave. with a Basilian Father officiating. LEVIA (LEE) MARKEWITZ (nee WACHNIAK) It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Levia (Lee) Markewitz on January 22, 2014. Levia was predeceased by her husband Joseph Markewitz in 1971 and her son-in-law David Williamson in 2005. She will be lovingly missed by her daughters, Beverly Williamson, Linda Young (Hubert); sons, Bob, Terry (Sue); her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as her sister, Kay Swack, brothers, Peter Wachniak (Diane), Steve Wachniak (Ollie); sister-in-law Lovey Wachniak and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank all the Homecare staff that took such good care of our mom over the past couple of years.
