When my daughter Danique told me of Josh's passing I dropped to my knees and could not Beleive what had happened to someone so young and so close to me and Danique. I couldn't imagine what Sharon and Derek could be going through. My thoughts where and are with you. Today I know what Sharon is going through, I just recently lost my own daughter Danique. When our family moved from St. Norbert to alberta josh was at our going away party. I love owls and josh had a beautiful tattoo, every time I see an owl I think of josh. Danique and Josh are together in heaven dancing with the angels, RIP you beautiful kids, Sharon and Derek stay strong. - Posted by: Priscilla Huberdeau (Friend) on: Apr 19, 2014

So sorry for this tragic loss. Our hearts bleed for Larry (Tina), Sharon, Derrek, and all of Josh's loving friends and family. It is comforting to know that Josh was a Christian and will no doubt be taking his rightfull place in the Lord's kingdom (probably need a little injection of excitment up there!) May God help us all through this devastating time and help us find peace in all of this. We love you guys. - Posted by: Dwight & Kathy Dietrich and family (Best Friends of Larry and Tina) on: Jan 30, 2014

We were so saddened to hear of the senseless and tragic death of Josh. Our thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family. The Manitoba Organization for Victim Assistance (MOVA) is comprised of family survivors of homicide and those who support them. Our main services are offering telephone and one-on-one support to family members and friends, as well as ensuring people are aware of their rights under the Victims Bill of Rights in Manitoba. We also offer a sharing session support group with others who are experiencing similar homicide grief assisted by a skilled therapist. In addition, we have a court and parole support worker who accompanies families to court and parole hearings and will sit with them during the wait for a jury verdict. As the grief is so complicated and there is so much to deal with for families, we offer our support to you from time of crime to long after any court process is completed. Our services are completely free of charge and we are always willing to answer your inquiries and assist you in any way that we can. Please feel free to call the MOVA telephone line anytime at 831-8950 or, if outside of Winnipeg, toll free at 1-877-596-0095. - Posted by: Cheryl Roby (Court Support Worker for MOVA) on: Jan 29, 2014
