Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCATHERINE (CAE) BYRNE Catherine (Cae) Byrne beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully on January 26, 2014 surrounded by her family. Cae was predeceased by her loving husband Ken. Left to cherish her memory are her three children Bob (Joanne), Barbara (Bill) and Peggy (Harvey) and her 18 grandchildren and 15 great- grandchildren. Cae was born in Regina on November 20, 1921 and met and married Ken in 1942. They moved to Winnipeg and were members of the Wildwood Club where she enjoyed golfing and curling. Cae worked at the Celebrity Box Office and was an avid bridge player. She enjoyed the arts, especially the opera. Our mother was very independent until the end and enjoyed people and her family and she touched many lives. She will be sadly missed. Her family would like to thank the very caring nurses on the 4th Floor of the Victoria Hospital. A Celebration of Life will occur at a later date.
