Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHEIDI ANNA RIX Peacefully at her home on January 31, 2014, Heidi passed away at the age of 83 years. Heidi is survived by her loving husband Frank; daughters Barbara (Ray), Karin (Jack), Christine (Tony); grandchildren Nicholas, Alexander, Thomas, Eric, Kyle, Liam, Neil, Amy; sisters Klarli and Elsi; brother Kurt and other extended family in Switzerland and England. She was predeceased by her sister Marie and brother Jakob. Heidi was born in Stetten, Schaffhausen, Switzerland on August 29, 1930. She trained as a nurse and worked in a children's sanatorium in the Alps. In 1958 she moved to England to improve her English, where she met Frank. After having three girls, the family moved to Winnipeg. Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, February 5 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Heidi's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. Cropo Funeral Chapel, 204-586-8044
