JOAN NAGAMORI (MARTIN) June 25, 1960 - January 29, 2014 Joan Nagamori, very peacefully with her son and family by her side, lost her very short battle with cancer on January 29, 2014 at the St. Boniface General Hospital. Joan is survived by her only son Rydell "Sam" Lasko (Angie), her stepdaughter Sara Nagamori and stepson Russell Nagamori (Carmi), her two sisters Cheryl Meilleur (David), and Sheri Krahn (Stan), two brothers Edward Martin (Susan) and Ron Blais (Elena), as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Most of all she will be missed by the two young men that knew her only as "Nana", grandsons Timothy and Logan. A very special thanks to "Dizzy Des" for her loyalty and companionship in her final days, as well as the doctors and nurses of 5E at St. Boniface who were amazing with all of us, especially our feisty Mom/Nana/Sister/Aunty, we will forever be grateful. In compliance with Joan's wishes, there will be no funeral services. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.
