PRISCILLA BASA It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of Priscilla Basa, after her courageous battle with cancer on February 1, 2014 at the age of 72. Priscilla leaves to cherish her wonderful memory, her sister Bella (Matthew), Bernadette, Billy, Roger. Her sister Corazon (Eduardo), Mariver, Allan, Josielyn, Aurelio. Her nieces and nephews, Anching (April, Tara, Nathan), Ronaldo (Candy and children) Olive, Lydia, Tinah, Nora, Boy and families. As well as numerous nieces and nephews in the Philippines. Also the Pineda families in Winnipeg and Carol Gajardo. She also leaves her dearest grandson Ethan, whom she loved very much. She was predeceased by her parents Arsenio and Maria Basa, four brothers and two sisters. Priscilla worked at Fred Douglas Lodge for 13 years and loved spending time with her family and travelling with her friends, the Handmaids of the Lord, MB. Viewing / Lamay will be held on Friday, February 7, 2014, 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, February 10, 2014 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 748 Keewatin St., Winnipeg, MB.
