NOELLA GLORIA HEATH Noella Gloria Heath went home to be with the Lord, February 1, 2014. Noella was predeceased by her parents, Gerald and Dorothy Heath, sister Jean Heath, her birth mother Mary Cook, and brother Russell Cook. She leaves to mourn, her sons, Sheldon and Joshua Heath, sisters, Christina Nepinak, Viola Cook, Bernice McKenzie (Dennis), Sandra Cook, brothers, Irvin and Burt Cook, grandchildren, Breanna Kenny, Zoe Daniels, Trust Heath, and Hunter Heath, and nieces and nephews, Stacey, Neil, Norma, Wendy (William), Wanda, Vanessa, Tamara, Michelle, Kaitlin, Ocean, Ginger, Erma, and Andrika, Leonard (Veronica), Stefan, Bradley, Darcy, Philip, Necho, Kellin, Russell, Dustin, Eroll, Irvin Jr., Elvis, and Jesse. Noella was born at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, December 26, 1965. She was one of the younger children of a large family. Over the years Noella was able to enjoy good relationships with her birth family. In 2010 she travelled to Lake St. Martin, to visit her reserve as it was - before the floods. She was blessed with many gifts: art, music, writing and friendship. She painted several murals in Winnipeg that lasted many years before they were recently painted over. She attended school in Winnipeg and took some fine arts courses after high school graduation. Noella finished out life in Regina doing what she loved, which was helping people. Before her passing she worked at SWAP in Regina as an HIV mentor and APPS in Regina as a peer support facilitator. Noella enjoyed her work and relationships with her colleagues immensely. Noella loved Jesus and learned to live out her commitment through her lifelong association with the Miracle Centre Church in Regina and Winnipeg. She loved her church family, and especially Bishop Van Johnson, his wife Pastor Selina Johnson as well as her entire church family. Noella had many friends from various stages of her life who deeply mourn her death as well. She was very appreciative of the great medical care and encouragement always given to her by the staff at Four Directions, special friend Joann Fahlman, Regina General and Pasqua Hospitals. In the last few years of Noella's life she enjoyed being with her sons and grandchildren the most. Though she struggled with her health her whole life, she'd try not to show it. She passed on loving Jesus, life, and her family. The family would like thank her friends, church family, support workers, health workers, Lake St. Martin First Nation Chief and Council, for all the support during this difficult time. A wake will be held on Friday, February 7, 2014. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 12:00 noon. Services will take place in Winnipeg, MB at Raymond Flett Memorial Church, 1493 Magnus. Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn, 4000 Portage Ave. Pastor S. Johnson will be officiating. Arrangements entrusted to ANDERSON FAMILY FUNERAL HOME Ashern, MB, 1-866-293-4951
