GARRY (DEAN) GARDINER Peacefully on Monday, February 3, 2014 Dean left this life. Leaving behind two sons Don and Gary, an aunt Peggy, sister Lana, two grandsons Steven and Ryan, and many relatives and friends, too numerous to name. "Your love, kindness, courage and compassion knew no limits. You left us too quickly, we never had the chance to say goodbye. So we hold our love in our hearts, until we meet again." A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Meadowood Manor, 575 St. Anne's Rd. "You persevered through hardship and pain, you filled my heart with love again. On the wings of angels you left to fly, Making it so very hard to say goodbye." I love you Dad.   • Met Dean almost 30 years ago, we were part of the first four staffers for the MB Hsg after hours call centre. Could always count on him. Always enjoyed working with him.   • I knew Dean when he was a call taker for Manitoba Housing. At that time the after hours Manitoba Housing call takers were responsible for dispatching the provincial air ambulance. Dean was an excellent dispatcher... he could always locate the crews and knew all the tricks for locating personnel when we were flying in very remote areas... long before GPS tracking systems, satellite phones, long range radios and cell phones.
