I am truly sorry to hear about the recent death of Jack. I remember as a small child and into my adulthood a number of visits I would have with the Ivey/Moffitt side of the family and after our Mother's death, with some members of the Simonite family. I had always enjoyed visits with Jack and Marion and just wish the visits had happened more often. Jack was special in so many ways and it is my understanding that at one point during his retirement he undertook to archive the families, Ivey, Moffitt, Simonite, etc. This would be very interesting to see as my sister, brother and I have very little history after our Mother's premature death. Jack and Marion were very obviously the patriarch/matriarch's of the family and it is sad to see that they have moved on, however, they will be fondly remembered. Please accept my deepest sympathy at Jack's passing. Beverley Goodwin, Vancouver, B.C. - Posted by: Beverley Goodwin (Family ) on: Feb 22, 2014
