RAFAEL TONELETE October 24, 1950 - February 7, 2014 Rafael Tonelete peacefully took his last breath surrounded by his girls and the love of his life on February 7, 2014, at 6:55 p.m. He is survived by his wife, Aurelia Basa Tonelete; his daughters Aurelle Russo (Luigi), Arlene Snaith (Brian) and Candice Tonelete (Jessie); and grandchildren Leonila, Mason, Madelyn and Selena. Also his siblings Armando, Ernie, Charlie, Benny, Josephine, Ed; and his father Floriano Tonelete. He now joins his loved ones in paradise. Diagnosed with cancer in April, 2013, he fought an amazing battle and never gave up until his last breath. He was supported by family and friends all around the world and especially by his dedicated family at Princess Auto. A special thank you to CancerCare Manitoba and St. Boniface Palliative Care Unit for making his passing as comfortable as possible. Viewing/Lamay will be held on Friday, February 14, 2014, commencing at 6:00 p.m. at the Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1006 Nairn Ave., Winnipeg, MB. Mass of the Resurrection will take place on Saturday, February 15, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral, 353 St. Mary Ave., Winnipeg, MB. Whenever I saw Rafe in the warehouse at Princess Auto, he always greeted me with a smile and was always willing to assist me with any challenge regarding customer mail orders.
