Judy Lynn and famnily, I got to know you and Wayne when we worked together at Olivetti in the 70s. We are so sorry to hear of Wayne's passing. He was such a great guy. Always so friendly and willing to help out!! He would go through piles of old typewriters to find that one part that no one else had to help a person out!! I fondly remember Wayne and Judy-lynne during my time at underwood typewriters. Wayne had a good sense of humor and a great work ethic. He was very easy going and got along with everyone. I was so fortunate to work with such great people. Judy-lynne and the family will have fond memories to sustain them thru this trying time. - Posted by: arlene da silva (milne) (co-worker at underwood) on: Mar 12, 2014

Judy Lynne, I don't know if you will remember me or not. I worked with you and Wayne many years ago at Olivetti Underwood, You and Wayne always had a smile and a kind word for me. I worked on the reception desk as well as in the service dept. When Wayne came in I remember a twinkle in his eye, his kindness and his smile. I remember Wayne walking the beach as we have lived in Grand Marais for many years now. I also knew Keith through mutual friends from school but did not know he had also passed away. My sincere condolences to you and your family. Wayne will be walking the beach with the angels. - Posted by: Marlene Maxwell/Swickis (Co-Worker) on: Feb 19, 2014

I grew up with Wayne and Judy as 2nd parents. Chris (Wink) and I were best friends from 8 years of age and I always loved hanging out on Shepton. You're tremendous people and I'm so sorry to hear of Wayne's passing. We were just back in Winnipeg last September and had intended to look you guys up. I'm so sorry we didn't. You're in our thoughts - Posted by: Don Mustard (Family Friend) on: Feb 17, 2014

Super guys next door in Charleswood 1977-1980. Great guy - Only guy I knew who'd start his car in the winter 30 minutes before he came out to go to work. Shortly after our arrival from Halifax, Judy Lynne & Wayne were nice enough to come visiting from next door. They sat in our living room & chatted - & unbeknownst to me, my old miniature schnauzer dog quietly & surreptitiously mozzied up to Wayne, lifted his leg & pee'ed on his trouser leg. Wayne sat there with no expression change - & said nothing while he sat listening to our stories about our background. Imagine!! What a guy! Betty reminded me that the next year Wayne had driven all the way west to Elkhorn to rescue us. We had broken down trying to return to Winnipeg from BC, with a trailer full of beer for him during a Manitoba beer strike. When we called him for rescue, he was so gracious that he didn't tell us the strike had ended & he had all the beer he needed; he came & rescued us anyway... ------------------- We are shocked & dismayed that Wayne has gone - we were so looking forward to a visit here soon... Take Good Care, JL - & accept our sincerest condolences to your whole family on your loss. Hugs & Tears ... Les & Betty - Posted by: Les & Betty East (Neighbours 1977-1980) on: Feb 16, 2014
