DANIEL ALEXANDER MIECHKOTA On Sunday, February 16, 2014, at the Concordia Hospital, Dan Miechkota, aged 75 years of Victoria Beach, MB, beloved husband of Velma, passed away. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk. Full obituary to follow. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.

  • Auntie Velma, Robbie, Jackie, Mish, Al, Michael and Jill... I'm heartbroken for your sudden loss. Upon hearing of his passing, so many memories started flashing thru my mind and in every single one of them, Uncle Dan had a huge quiet smile on his face. I know that nothing I could say will lessen your pain, but it it obvious to me that you all provided him with a wonderful and happy life. I can't believe I will have to wait so long to hear that contagious laugh again, but I am sure that I will.   • A FRIEND & A BUDDY FOR 30 YEARS. HOW MANY TIMES WE SANG SUNK MY TRACTOR AROUND A CAMP FIRE.
