Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET ELIZABETH PENTNEY (nee MCLEAN) It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother Margaret Pentney on Friday, February 14, 2014 at the age of 81 years. Margaret was born on April 28, 1932 in New Castle, NB. She had a zest for life that was fed by her sense of humour that met every challenge with uplifting wit and generosity. Margaret was a woman with a huge heart, a loving mother who worked hard to provide for her family. She had a passion for caring for others, friends were like family. She enjoyed playing bingo, dancing, watching curling and Formula 1 racing. Spending time with people she cared about gave her tremendous joy. Her husband Robert Bob' Pentney predeceased Margaret in 1975. Margaret is lovingly remembered by her children, Bill (Char), Heather (Charles), Randy (Britt) and five grandchildren: Tyler, Zachery, Joshua, Samantha and Robert. We would like thank the Chapman and Schimnowski families, Victoria Kaschor and Dr. Edward Pilot for many years of love and support. In accordance with mom's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held in the spring or early summer. I would like send my sympathies to Bill, Heather, and Randy. Margie was like a sister to me when we were growing up in New Brunswick. I am currently in Winnipeg visiting my daughter and would love to get in contact. I would love to be part of the celebration of life. I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. I loved your Mom and always felt she was very much a part of our family as were you guys. I can still picture your mom and my mom sitting out on the patio, both smoking and having a rum & coke. I know they are both now looking down on all of us, enjoying a rum & coke and still smoking!!! So sad to hear of Marge's passing. She was one of my mother's dear friends. I will always remember our many weekends out at Mom's trailer where Marge would join for the weekend and we would all play cards or dice. Or the many memories from our time spent over at the Eagles hall. To Marge's family, keep the memories close to your heart.
