PATRICIA HOROSHOK It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend on February 18, 2014. Pat will be sadly missed by the love of her life, Jim, her husband of 54 years; daughters Kelly (Wayne), Jody (Jarad); daughter-in-law Margaret; one of her greatest joys her grandchildren Nicholas, Justin, Aaron, Ashley, Jordan, Jenna and Hayden. She also leaves behind her treasured sister Kathy (Bruce); brother Michael; sisters-in-law Wendy and Patsy (Michael) and brother-in-law Ron Benoit. Pat was predeceased by her parents William and Kathleen; mother-in-law Emily; two sons Jim and Randy; her brothers Billy, Gerald, David and brother-in-law Ted Horoshok. Pat was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB where she met her best friend and husband, Jim in 1957. They raised their four children in both Winnipeg and then later in Calgary, AB. Pat held many jobs throughout her life which gave her great pleasure, and allowed her to make lifelong friends along the way. She enjoyed knitting, bingo, spending time with her family and friends and her very loyal dog Tasha. The family would like to extend thanks to all the staff at Concordia Hospital ICU, both units of the 3rd floor and N1 North. They would also like to thank Rev. Amos Fehr, staff chaplain. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, February 22 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. A private family interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pat's memory to the Concordia Hospital Bereavement Society. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-586-8044
