Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySEVERE JOSEPH VINCENT Born in St. Georges, MB, 1921 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Father and Pepere on Saturday, February 22, 2014. Severe will be sadly missed by Therese (nee Guetre), his loving wife of 65 years, his children: Larry (Shirley), Claude, Guy (Creole), Jacquie (Gerry), Ginette (Jamie), Leon (Donna), Hugette (Leo), Jeannine (Hubert) and Rachel (Paul); 19 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn four sisters, Rose Gautron, Alma Dorge, Doris Fontaine and Therese Pelletier, five brothers, Fernand, Sylvio, Jean, Rodolphe and Alec; as well as, numerous in-laws, relatives and friends. Severe was predeceased by his daughter, Paulette Vincent and grandson, Krisjan Vincent. In keeping with Severe's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held on Friday, February 28, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in Holy Family Church, 778 Archibald Street. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Severe may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association. "No more will we be seeing that adorable smile and enjoying his sense of humour." Condolences to you all. Severe was such a great person. He was direct, honest, and hard-working. Just a great example to us all who grew up around him. Somehow, he seemed to have time for everyone. Therese and family, so sorry to hear of Severe's passing. Severe will long be remembered for his love of his community and the leadership he provided sports and other community events in St Georges.
