AJIT KUMAR BHARADWAJ December 28, 1939 - February 20, 2014 It is with deep sadness and regret that we announce the passing of Ajit Kumar Bharadwaj on February 20, 2014 in Winnipeg. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Sneh, his daughters Reetu, Anjala and Priya, his son-in-law Munish, his grandsons Yash and Veer, his sisters Asha, Sushma (Shyam), Pratima (Saneh), Deepika, his sisters-in-law Vishwamohini and Rita, his various nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. He is predeceased by his parents Nand Lal and Satya Devi, his brothers Satish Kumar and Vinod Kumar and his brothers-in-law Vishwamohan and Ravi. He has called Winnipeg his home since 1970 when he immigrated here from India. He was employed at Dominion Bronze Ltd. for a few years and then started a career at Boeing of Canada Ltd. where he worked until he retired. A private funeral service for family and friends will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 24, 2014 at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard. Shanti Path (prayers) will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at the Hindu Temple, 999 St. Anne's Road. The family is very grateful and would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff at the Health Sciences Centre, especially the Dialysis Unit, MICU, CCU, HD4 and GH7 for their care.
