Dean was the best boss for my husband and a great business partner for me. He was a true leader who cares for his staff and has a special silent charisma. These qualities enabled him to be human, companionate and pragmatic at the same time. We always loved to attend all the corporate events at Apptius organized by Lea and Dean, knowing that everything will be at the highest level. We will still participate and engage in all possible ways at Apptius; just he will be missed so much. - Posted by: Regina Teplitsky (Wife of an Apptius Emploee and Busines Partner) on: Mar 14, 2014

I played in the band with Dean. As a musician, he was one of the strongest trumpet players I have worked with. When I had any problems as far as computers go, he was always very approachable and helful. I didn't know his family, but I would like to send them my heartfelt condolences. Like I said I've only known Dean for a couple of years in the band business, but the band busness will miss a very talented musician and friendly person.. - Posted by: Jim McEwen (Fellow Musician) on: Mar 09, 2014

Dean, you were one of a kind. Gentle, musical, patient, and steady. You encouraged your employees. You were a loyal friend. You worked hard. You returned to music later in life and found joy in being a part of our bands. I loved golfing with you because you never got upset and you loved to play quickly (as do I). I'm so sad you are gone, I will miss you. - Posted by: Carl Strempler (Friend, business associate, bandmate) on: Mar 08, 2014

Dean was one of the most brilliant and engaging people I have had the privilege of meeting and doing business with. He made a complex problem seem simple! "Dean, I need an App for that!!" My only regret is that we didn't get to spend more time and share some golf or cottage experiences. You are sorely missed. Thank you for your camaraderie - and invitations to your Music Gigs!! Peace and Love, Rob Glennie. - Posted by: Rob Glennie (Business Associate and Friend) on: Mar 06, 2014
