ANTONIETTA ADAMO February 20, 1948 - March 5, 2014 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother Antonietta Adamo. After her short battle with cancer, Antonietta passed away peacefully in her sleep with her family by her side on March 5, 2014. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Felice Mario, her father Alfonso along with other relatives. She leaves behind her cherished children Domenica (Warren), Clemente (Kelly) and Elvira (Dan), her admired mother Elvira and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends in Winnipeg and Italy. Antonietta was born February 20, 1948 in San Mango, Italy. She immigrated to Canada in 1967. She and her husband immediately started working so that they could start an amazing life and family together. Antonietta was always so generous to her family and always looked out for everyone. She always cooked for everyone and always welcomed anyone into her home. She was devoted to her grandchildren and always put a smile on their faces. Her kindness shined through and anyone could see it. You will be dearly missed by everyone. We know you are in a much better place and now with the love of your life, we know you're happy. If we didn't tell you enough we love you Mom, Best nana ever. The family would like to thank the staff of the Palliative Care Unit at St. Boniface Hospital. During lent, flowers are not kept in church. Donations will be graciously accepted in memory of Antonietta at CancerCare Manitoba. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. from the Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Ave. with Rev. Father Sam Argenziano celebrant. Condolences may be offered one hour prior to the mass. Entombment at the Chapel of Eternal Memories Mausoleum Waverley Memorial Gardens, 1501 Waverley St., Winnipeg, MB.
