SONIA DOREEN DANELAK (nee DEMAINIW) April 25, 1948 - March 5, 2014 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mom. She was predeceased by her mother and father, Mary and Jack Demainiw; her two brothers, Ronnie and Peter; and sister-in-law Sophie Demainiw. She is survived by her loving husband George; son Harvey (Tanya); sisters and brothers Orest (Gladys), Helen (Nick), Paul (Iris), Elsie (Bryan), Peter, Jerry (Doreen) and many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and many dear friends. Prayers will be held on March 10, 2014 in Fisher Branch at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held on March 11, 2014 at the Arborg Community Centre in Arborg at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Fisher Fire Department in Fisher Branch, MB FISHER FUNERAL HOME INC.   • Dear Sonia, I wish I had known that your days here were coming to pass. I am sorry I did not know. SO much time has gone but I remember your laughter like it was yesterday. You were a wonderful colleague and at the same time a caring friend. I cherish your presence at my wedding and will always remember you.   • George I'm so sorry to hear of Sonia's passing. I'll always think of her, as we always exchanged Birthday Card each year. I deeply regret that I won't be able to be at Sonia's funeral, as I work a seasonal job for Liberty Tax Services and we're in the midst of our busiest tax season. I was so hoping to be there for her family and yours. Seeing all Sonia's brothers and sisters that we grew up together, would have been so nice. My sorrow will be with you George. Wish I could give everyone hugs from here, but just remember that I'll be with all of you on Tuesday.
