Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • I miss you Joe...I miss the way you would call me "Sam"...he would say " mom...your son Sam wants to talk to you"! Just one of his ways to bug me (his little sister) 😊. I live in your old trailer now Joe, and everything in here is a daily reminder of you. We share stories of funny things you did or said. Even stories of when you did get mad about something. No one was afraid...you were a gentle giant. The kids miss you and I know this because they tell me they miss you. Family gatherings are a reminder that you're not here. You're not here to bring your famous macaroni salad to the table. You used to come visit me lots in my dreams but not so much lately. I've had to learn to let go. You are in a better place. No more suffering, no more pain my Bro. We will meet again someday. - Posted by: Gail Thompson (Sister) on: Jul 15, 2018

  • He was/is/always will be my kid brother. When I last visited him at the hospital, he mentioned that his trailer @ Pinay was not his home. He said he was going to a better place and that he had made his peace. Then, he told me to go because he was too tired to talk anymore. I nearly had a nervous breakdown at the funeral. It never really impacted me as to how much I'd miss him and I still do! - Posted by: Fred Chartrand (Brother) on: Aug 25, 2014
