Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFLORENCIO (BOYING) DEL ROSARIO After 71 years of living a purposeful life, Florencio "Boying" del Rosario passed peacefully on March 11, 2014 surrounded by loving friends and family. Born in the Philippines on October 27, 1942, Boying immigrated to Canada in 1974 and proudly served Motor Coach Industries until his early retirement. An active yoga practitioner finding a home at Moksha Yoga, Winnipeg in his last years, he strived to further his knowledge of spiritual awareness and spread it by example. He joins his mother, Remedios del Rosario, father, Rogelio del Rosario, and brother, Melencio (Angel) Tan in the afterlife. He is survived by his loving wife, Lorna; children: Wilfred (Mel), Florence, Zos (Ralph), John (Kristine), Siegfreid (Jennie) and Jasmine (Ron); grandchildren: Michelle, Alyssa, Michael, Zenon, Zaige, Zeth, Joshua, Shiloh, Skylar and Braylon; siblings: Marilou (Alex), Emma, Charlie, and Lourdes (Jeff); in-laws: Mellie (Charlie), Ledy (Rick), Hector (Myla), and Cynthia (Allan), as well as nephews, nieces, and close friends. Viewing or "Lamay" celebrating his life will be held on March 14 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard. Funeral Mass will be held in his honour at St. Peter's Church, 748 Keewatin Avenue on March 15 at 1:00 p.m. The family expresses sincere thanks to the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service, Winnipeg Police Service, and the staff at Seven Oaks General Hospital for their selfless assistance and care. Boying, a spiritual guide and light to so many, inspired us to dream big but live everyday in humility, gratitude, and fascination. For having touched our lives, we are blessed and humbled. NAMASTE. To the family of Boying, my deepest condolence. I share your sadness in his passing as Boying is such a jolly person , always smiling and have such a good sense of humor. I was really choked when I heard about the bad news. It was just a week ago that I was talking and joking around with him. Words are not enouhg to let you know how I feel, he will be sadly miss my prayers and thought are with you in this time of sorrow.
