Date of Passing: Mar 09, 2014
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBRADLEY EUGENE BRAUN On Sunday, March 9, 2014 Bradley passed away peacefully at the age of 76 years. He is survived by his loving wife Noreen, his two brothers Ken (Eunice) and Garry (Valarie), sister Mary Ann (Jack) as well as his sister-in-law Verla, and numerous nieces and nephews. Brad was raised on the family farm in Neubergthal, MB. His working life was spent in Winnipeg first at Auto Electric and then Princess Auto. During his retirement years he drove a school bus for special needs kids which he enjoyed very much. Brad enjoyed life, breakfast with his buddies, Friday morning golf, coffee breaks and long walks with Noreen enjoying Jehovah's creation. Brad was a long-time member of the River Park Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. He spent many hours sharing his faith with others. He believed in God's Kingdom and the Bible hope of living forever on a peaceful earth. (Ps 37:11,29) Brad endured his illness with courage and dignity. Noreen his beloved wife worked tirelessly to keep him comfortable. He knew he was well cared for and loved. Noreen would like to give heartfelt thanks to everyone who had a part in caring for Brad, both her family and friends. She couldn't have done it without them. A private memorial service will be held for the family and the members of the River Park Congregation on Friday, March 14, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall Centre, 227 Lakewood Blvd. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations may be made to Riverview Health Centre (Palliative Care Unit), thank-you.

I met Brad and Noreen 7 years ago. They came and enjoyed coffee and a muffin in my coffee shop. We hit it off right away. Brad was so funny, and his sly smile was infectious. That was the start of a friendship that I will cherish for a very long time. Noreen, Brad reminded me so much of my father. His love of life and God's beautiful creation, nature, and all the beauty it holds. My thoughts and prayers are with you Noreen. I know you will miss him terribly, but there is comfort in knowing that he is at peace with his God. When I think of Brad, my heart smiles! - Posted by: Darlene Landino (Friend from Double D's Cheesecake) on: Mar 22, 2014

We were very sad to hear of Brad's illness and death. We know how much you love him Noreen and how it will be hard to wait to see him again. But see him again will. My Dad loved that guy so much and I called them The Bad Boys Breakfast Club". It will great to see them all young and having breakfast together again soon. - Posted by: Mike and Michele (Gillies) Murphy (Friends) on: Mar 14, 2014

How very sad. I have many fond memories as a kid going to visit the farm. Bradley always had a warm smile for me and I loved to listen to his voice. I enjoyed catching up with Bradley and Noreen, as an adult, at Dawn and Harold's barbeque. I am so sorry for your loss Noreen, Garry, Ken, Mary Ann, Verla, and your families. Love to all .. Brad was a cousin, but, more than that he was a FRIEND. He made a point of dropping in to see me when Fred died, which I appreciated more than I think I ever told him. Words cannot say what is in my heart for Brad. My deepest sympathies to Noreen, his brothers and their wives, and his sister and her husband. Brad will be missed by everyone who knew him and loved him. Sent with love from Val Fraser - Posted by: Val Fraser (cousin) on: Mar 13, 2014

Dear Noreen, Ken, Eunice, Garry, Val, Mary Ann and Jack, please accept our sincerest condolences on the loss of Bradley from your physical lives. He was a good man, who I worshipped as a child and who came to be someone whose company both Harold and I enjoyed on his few visits to our home. He proved himself to be a loving, caring man after my Dad died, by popping in to visit my Mom on a regular basis "just to check up'. He could make us laugh with his funny stories (especially the ones of my sisters and I as children on the farm), but he could be thoughtful and serious when we talked about various life events. We believe we are richer because we knew him, and are saddened by his death. Dawn & Harold - Posted by: Dawn & Harold Vokey (cousins) on: Mar 13, 2014

Dear Noreen and Family, Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. We look forward along with you to the promised Bible hope of life without sickness, pain, death and sorrow. (Rev. 21:3,4) May Jehovah, our loving God and the comfort from his Word, the Bible help you to endure as you cope with the loss of your beloved husband. Brad's passing is losing a good friend. Brad cared about people, and always had a positive comment for everyone. His gruff mannerisms hid a very soft heart, and we all loved him for it. When we were in times of need, you could see the care and compassion when he asked about us, or our kids. We know his suffering is over, and we SO MUCH look forward to seeing him again. As the scriptures cited refer to, the hope for the future, and the confidence we have in Jehovah keeping us safe in his memory, give us optimism for the future, and comfort for the present. Brad was a good man. I will miss my fellow left-handed friend who shared a birthday and first name with me. BjE - Posted by: Brad & Wendy Elnnbaas and Family (Friend) on: Mar 13, 2014
