MARCELINA GAMBALAN Marcelina peacefully passed away in her home, in the presence of family, on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at the age of 89 years. She is predeceased by her husband Julio and daughter Josefa Sangalang (Danilo). She leaves behind wonderful memories to her children, Rogelio (Pacita), Filipino, Leonel (Angelita), Estrella (Rodrigo), Villamor (Juanita) and Edwin (Charito), 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Marcelina and her husband Julio, with their children, immigrated to Canada in 1979. She worked in a garment factory, cleaning business and also babysat her grandchildren and children for close family friends. She was very loving, caring and thoughtful. Most of all, she was well loved by her children, sons/daughters- in-law, and grandchildren. She will be missed and will be forever in the hearts of those who she left behind. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the Home Care Program and the private care (E & E Care) especially Marina, Mary Rose, and Eva. Viewing/Lamay will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2014 commencing at 6:00 p.m. from Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd. Prayers will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 748 Keewatin St., Winnipeg, MB.
