As far as I can remember back to the mid sixties Uncle Heinz, as all of my brothers and sisters called him, met my parents Robert and Ruth Duehmig. He was a very good man that the kids looked up to along with Auntie Simone. Heinz and Simone were very good friends of my Mom and Dad. They visited us often at our home around Christmas time, Easter and most of the other holidays. He was so good to us children, and my Mom and Dad. I remember when they went to the Swiss Club dinners. On behalf of the Duehmig Family our sincere condolences to Simone and friends who knew Heinz. God Bless You. My Mom and Dad are also with you in Heaven. - Posted by: Robert Duehmig Jr. (close friend of the Duehmig Family) on: Apr 06, 2015

I have known Heinz since I came to Canada from Switzerland in 1959. From the beginning, we became friends and worked together in the Swiss Club, later also joined by my wife Katharina. We had many good times with Heinz and Simone and as others said already, he was the perfect gentleman. He will live on in our memory. I always had the highest regard for Heinz - a great gentleman and with a great sense of humor. I lost track of him a few years back, but treasured the memories of our times together. May God's Holy Spirit comfort you in your time of grieving, Simone. - Posted by: GEORGE BARDSLEY (Friend and customer) on: Mar 26, 2014
