Greg was also a wonderful at one liners which we all loved. Wit was his forte. - Posted by: Bernadette Phillips (I taught Greg who was a school teacher and a great musician. May he rest in peace) on: Dec 22, 2015

Mr Lindahl was the first teacher to give me a Jug at St. Pauls High School and will always be remembered. He always did his best to keep class interesting and took great pride in his work and was an inspiration. I remember seeing him a few years back at a St. Pauls function and getting to know him personally a little better. It's sad to see that he has passed away and will not be able to help shape, mold and encourage youth to best the best that they can be. It is a truly sad day. - Posted by: Jeffrey Sadowski (Former Student) on: Mar 30, 2014

Mr. Lindahl was an inspiring teacher who made a great difference in my life, he was a friend and mentor. I did not keep in touch with him, as with many teacher/student relationships; they grow apart. However I always took comfort knowing he roamed the planet and now that "presence" will be forever missed. May you rest in peace Mr. Lindahl. - Posted by: Jacques Gendron (Former student ) on: Mar 30, 2014

I started at St Paul's in 1986 with Greg. He and his mother became a family for me in Winnipeg. May he rest in peace. - Posted by: Joe Mroz SJ (friend) on: Mar 30, 2014

Recently Greg came to visit his Iowa Uncle Glen & Aunt Ruby and their family. We knew he was ill but we never thought that that visit would be our last. He was so positive-upbeat. When it was time for him to leave we had our hugs and our chance to say we love him.I'm glad we had the chance to this. We'll miss our sweet awesome Greg. But know that he is with his parents and grandparents, free of pain and with his family bringing wonderful music into God's house - a comforting thought. So sad to hear of Greg's passing. As to many others, he inspired me in music and he was a great conductor. I had the honour and privilege to play under him several times. He will be truly missed in the music world. - Posted by: Dayna Nichol (fellow musician) on: Mar 29, 2014
