SANDRA STAPLES (nee GERVAIS) March 14, 1966 - March 29, 2014 Sandra Staples, of Sandy Hook, formerly of Hodgson and Elie, MB passed away peacefully, on the afternoon of Saturday, March 29, 2014 surrounded by family and love at the St. Boniface Hospital, at the age of 48. Besides her adoring partner, Alfred Evans, Sandra will be missed by her father, Rene Gervais; brother Bob (Nancy); nieces Tiffany (Jesse) and Jennie; nephew Marc; great-nieces Alora and Cora, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, friends, her faithful dog, Pekoe, and cats Kitty, Tigger and Baby. Sandra was predeceased by her mother Pat, grandparents as well as some special aunts and uncles. Cremation has already taken place and a celebration of her life will be held Friday, April 4 at 2:00 p.m., at St. Boniface Golf Course, 100 Youville Street, Winnipeg. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Boniface ICCS unit as well as Sandra's many health care providers she has met over her lifetime. Flowers gratefully declined. Should friends so desire, a donation may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Heart and Stoke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society. Rest in Peace, our Shiny Penny.
