Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPATRICIA MARGARET MCELROY (nee CROOK) Suddenly with her family by her side, Patricia McElroy of Sandy Hook, MB passed away on March 31, 2014 at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg. Patricia was born in the coastal town of Lytham, St. Anne's, England to Lillian and Richard Crook on August 10, 1934. She was educated and apprenticed in England prior to immigrating with her husband Robert to Canada in 1958. Patricia worked for Canada Safeway for just over 30 years before retiring in 1995. Together Patricia and Robert built their retirement home on the site of the family cottage in Sandy Hook, living out the rest of her life in the serene, quiet countryside, which was so much like the small town she grew up in. Patricia is preceded in death by both her parents Richard and Lillian, her oldest brother Charles and her sister Lillian. Patricia is survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert, her son Kevin, daughter Lorraine (Darren) and her only grandchild, Alecia (Rian), brother Robert (Margaret) and her nieces and nephews in England. The family of Patricia McElroy wish to extend their gratitude to Health Sciences Centre, MICU Team for their care, compassion and support. A Celebration of Life is planned for Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. from Mosaic Funeral Home 1006 Nairn Avenue in Winnipeg. Please come and join the family in Celebration.
