Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPATRICIA GLENYS BOBLINSKI (nee RAILTON) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Glenys, age 70, on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at the Selkirk General Hospital. She was predeceased by her parents Vernon and Ethel Railton, and niece Keri Jonasson. She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 47 years, Bill; her sons Brent and Jason (Tamara), and four grandchildren Sarah, Madison, Lauren and Jack. She is also lovingly remembered by her sisters Beverley and Barbara (Ron); brother-in-law Dennis; sister-in-law Marlene; aunt Corinne; uncle Luther; nieces, nephews and cousins. Glenys was born in Selkirk, MB and lived there her entire life. Glenys and Bill were married in 1967 and raised their family there. She enjoyed travelling, spending time at the shopping malls, dining, reading and watching T.V. Glenys was a happy and friendly person who had a lot of friends and enjoyed dancing in her early years. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved her grandchildren dearly and enjoyed taking them shopping. In her younger years she worked at Eaton's, Manitoba Lotteries and Gaynor Foods. The family would like to thank Dr. DuPreez, Dr. Fuchs and the emergency staff for their care and compassion. At Glenys' request, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Clement's Mapleton Anglican Church with The Ven. Godfrey Mawejje officiating. A private burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Arthritis Society of Manitoba, Ste. 105-386 Broadway Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3C 3R6.
