BRENDA LEA Suddenly on April 8, 2014 at HSC, Brenda passed away at the age of 59, after years of prolonged illness. Even with her deteriorating health, she was still able to touch many lives by volunteering and fundraising. She was predeceased by her mother Doreen. Left to cherish her memory is her father Roland; husband Stanford; children Cameron (Crystal) and Nicole; grandson Austin; siblings Debbie, Donna (Jeff), Doyle (Charlene) and Tim (Kim), as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. Memorial service to be held at The Matheson Island Hall on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. with Fred Peters officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Winnipeg Harvest. To Nicole, Cameron and family I would like to send u all my sincerest condolences! Brenda Lea was like no other and she took me in like another daughter, she was like another mom to me! I will always miss her! There were many memories I had of her which included going out to Matheson Island many times and having lots of fun, going on her boat, going to bingo with her and lastly me and Lisa getting her involved in volunteering at winnipeg Harvest! There were many a time where I would call Brenda up and say "hey would you like to go to Chicken Chef for supper and bingo afterwards and I got a huge Sure as an answer! To Cameron, Crystal, Austin and the rest of Brenda's family. I'm sorry for your loss, although I haven't know Brenda for many years, I do know that she was a caring and gentle lady, who will be missed by many. May you hold on to your most fondest memories to help you get through this sad time and the sad times to follow.
