JANICE ADOLPHE It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Janice Adolphe (nee Stevens) on April 4, 2014 after a courageous battle with MSA. Janice is survived by her companion of 20 years, Mike Stevens; son Michael (Jenny) and grandchildren Kaiden, Cyanne and Jaelyn; son Terry (Brandy) and granddaughter Kiana; three sisters Diane Thomas, Judy Wakeford (Bob Bull), Lori-Lyn Cyr (Rene), and nieces and nephews - Craig, Darren and Kelly. Nana's grandchildren were the light of her last days and she had pictures of them on her I-Pad, which she had with her all the time. Janice was an avid golfer and she excelled at the sport. She belonged to the Transcona Golf Club for many years where she made a lot of friends. Janice also loved a game of cards and playing bingo at the nursing home. Thanks to the staff at Kildonan Care Home for the excellent care Janice received. At Janice's request, Cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service. When spring comes and you're on the golf course - remember Janice with that first "SWING ". Funeral Arrangements in Care of Wheeler Funeral Home, Cemetery & Crematorium 1800 Day Street 204-224-1525

My grandma seemed so sweet, I did get to meet her several times when I was young. She is the most honest and beautiful woman I've ever seen. I look at many photos and go through her memories. I have a box full of her school stuff and pictures from when she was younger. Seeing these makes me realize she lived very well. I wish she could've been here to see me turn into an adult. Love you Grandma, Rest in peace, My heart goes out to you. - Posted by: Cyanne Adolphe (Grand-Daughter) on: Apr 14, 2025
