MARGARET ELIZABETH COOK (nee BOWSFIELD) Peacefully on April 11, 2014, Margaret passed away at the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg. Margaret was born on November 7, 1924 in Mount Forest, ON. Mom is survived by her children Jim (Jacquie) and Elizabeth Hopkins (Doug), and her cherished grandchildren, Robert, Matthew, and Breanne Cook, and Kayla and Amanda Hopkins. She is also survived by her sister Ruth Bloodworth, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Walter and May Bowsfield, her husband Bert, and her brother Hartwell. Margaret was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved time spent at the Wildewood Club with family and friends, and was a true Bomber and Jets fan. The family would like to thank the staff of The Convalescent Home of Winnipeg for the kind and compassionate care given to Mom during her time there. We would also like to extend special thanks to Chris and Jean Thain and Lovern McDermid for helping Mom maintain her independence in her home for so many years.
