Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTELLA (STEFANIA) PYRIH (nee PURCHA) Peacefully, on Saturday, April 19, 2014, Stella Pyrih passed away at St. Boniface Hospital. Stella was born on July 12, 1926 in Poland of Ukrainian descent. As a three year old child, she immigrated to Canada with her parents, settling in East Selkirk, MB. Moving to Winnipeg she met and married John (Iwan) Pyrih on August 16, 1952. Their son Lawrence was born in 1957, followed by a daughter Leslie a year later. Stella was a devoted wife and mother and until her passing cared for her daughter. She was predeceased by her parents, Michal (Michael) and Paranka (Pearl) Purcha, husband, John, her brother Walter Purcha and sister Jean Sawchuk. She will be greatly missed by her daughter Leslie, son Lawrence (Lorna) and grandchild Elizabeth (Damian) Grosso of Calgary; also a sister-in-law, Marianne Purcha and special niece and nephews, Rosemarie, Terry and Michael Sawchuk. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, April 25, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Interment to follow in All Saints Cemetery. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-586-8044
