She was predeceased by her loving husband of 61 years, Harold in December 2009, her parents and all 13 of her brothers and sisters. Geraldine will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Marion (Steve) and her two sons Terry (Cheryl), and Michael; grandchildren, Bill (Fiona), Jason (Krista), Shawna (James),Tara (Shane), Alex, Ryan, Lisa and Chris; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Caelen, Dru, May, Tristan, Wyatt, and Carly. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews who with some she had a very special relationship. Mom loved her family above all else. She cherished her siblings, in-laws and their families. They enjoyed many family get-togethers over the years. These were true high lights for mom, getting to see everyone enjoying each other's company sharing a meal and saying the rosary. Geraldine also enjoyed playing cards and dancing till the wee hours on many a Saturday night. Geraldine spent the last five years at Holy Family Home and we would like to thank the staff for the great care and kindness they gave mom as well as Dr. Babick Sr. and Dr. Babick Jr. A special thank-you to the many Sisters from the Sister Servants of Mary Immaculate for their many visits and prayers for mom. As well, thank-you to the pastoral care team from St. Alphonsus Church who visited mom regularly. Prayers will be said Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 25, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Church, 341 Munroe Avenue. Interment at Holy Family Cemetery.
