FRITZ LINDECKE Peacefully on Friday, April 18, 2014 Fritz passed away at Lion's Personal Care Centre at the age of 94 years. Fritz was predeceased by his parents, siblings and grandson Joe Kriegl. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Karoline, son Fred (Doris) Kriegl, grandson Fred (Felicia) Kriegl, as well as four great-grandchildren Adam, Alessandra, Tiana and Melissa Kriegl. Fritz was born on November 9, 1919 in Germany and immigrated to Canada from Austria in 1957 with his wife and son. He loved working outdoors so he became a self-employed gardener in the early 1960s. He also spent a lot of time at their cottage on Pinawa Bay with family and friends. You could always spot Fritz and Karoline Cruising the Bay on their Pontoon Boat. A special thank you to the staff at Lion's Personal Care Centre for all of their excellent care, compassion and support. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service. A private family gathering will take place at a later date.
