Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHABIB'U'LLAH MAHMOODI (Baba) June 10, 1925 - May 10, 2014 With his family at his side Habib Mahmoodi (Baba) passed away peacefully at Tuxedo Villa May 10, 2014. Baba immigrated to Winnipeg in 1992 to live with his eldest daughter Mandana and her family. He was a kind generous person with an all-embracing love for everyone and an uncanny knack for quickly befriending strangers. O Lord, glorify his station, shelter him under the pavilion of Thy supreme mercy, cause him to enter Thy glorious paradise and perpetuate his existence in Thine exalted rose garden, that he may plunge into the sea of light in the world of mysteries. (from the Baha'i Writings) Baba's family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of the Tuxedo Villa Extendicare for all the loving care they provided to Baba the last two years. Funeral services for Baba will be held at the Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow interment at the St. Clement Cemetery in Selkirk. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
