Condolences & Memories (11 entries)

  • "Emo" was one of the "10% gang" at St Pierre Jolys High School. We were all friends who enjoyed life to the fullest and had much fun together in our teen years. Condolences to the family. Rest in peace Emile. - Posted by: Joceline Beaudry (Friend) on: May 16, 2014

  • We will miss you greatly Emile even though we did not have a chance to share a few laughs as before. I grew up with Emile in Dufrost and we went to school together. Every neighborhood has their characters. Emile was one who often stuck on my mind when I recalled my youth. He was very caring, jovial, sociable and friendly. He had no pretensions or airs. Just a nice guy all around who I had hoped to reacquaint myself in retirement years during our many visits to Manitoba. Unfortunately he departed too early and was not to be. We will sadly miss his smile and big heart. We offer our sympathies and condolences to the family. • Emile will be missed. The fun times playing ball with Emile as his bat catcher. Plus all the fun times after the games. Your brother Dave always praised you Emile when Dave and I would always talk. RIP Emile. - Posted by: Brian Roy (Friend) on: May 14, 2014

  • Sincères condoléances à toute la famille Catellier. Emile's first trip to Costa Rica was with Gary, Ray and I. We covered a lot of miles in those 5 weeks: we wanted to see coast to coast, sea level to mountain tops! And we did! I'm glad to know he continued to enjoy travelling, but sorry that he left us way too soon. - Posted by: Lucie Gosselin-Rodrigue (friend) on: May 14, 2014

  • Really sad to hear of Emile's passing, we grew up together way back in Dufrost. Had great times thru out school and at party and social gatherings, especially back in the days at "Grandpa's Ranch" way in the back!!! Emile was my "Best Man" at Elaine and my wedding in October 1975. I will miss Emile greatly and my sympathies to his family for their loss. Tony. - Posted by: Tony Catellier (Cousin) on: May 14, 2014

  • Emile was a great guy. He always had some laughter in every converstion and always willing to help out his friends. Enjoyed all the years of playing ball with him and after game discussions. Condolences to all family members. - Posted by: Marc Dotremont (Friend) on: May 14, 2014

  • I grew up in Dufrost and with Emile and his family and attended early grades at Frontenac School with him. Emile was down to earth, had ideas but was never boastful. He was a sure thing at the many baseball games in town. I see he has had a successful business and his many friends will mourn his sudden and too early passing. Sincere condoleances des Marions de Dufrost. - Posted by: Marcelle Marion (Dufrost neighbour) on: May 14, 2014

  • Our most sincere sympathies to the Catellier family. You have lost a great brother and we are with you in these terribly hard times. Emile was a friend to everyone, giving all he could without expecting anything in return. He will be sadly missed by many people. We have known Emile for many years and find it very hard to believe that he is gone. Emile, REST IN PEACE, and we will always love you!
