  • Rose, truly an amazing woman. I'll always remember the way your eyes smiled when you looked at your family, your positive outlook, Chinese food at Christmas, love of Coca Cola and your ability to walk for miles and miles and miles and miles!! We'll miss you Rose, knowing that you lived a wonderful life, surrounded by love. Steve Sr. better have a good pair of running shoes! - Posted by: NIcole Thullner (Grand Daughter Inlaw) on: May 18, 2014

  • Having a grandparent for 54 years is a rare and special thing. Being able to hold conversations with someone who had that much life experience, knowledge and wisdom was invaluable and enlightening. Loved the countless conversations I had with my grandmother; provided of course that she was wearing her hearing aid. Never afraid to speak her mind on all manner of subjects, she was able to cut to the chase and say something with one sentence that took others volumes to spell out... and usually said with a wink in her eye and smile on her face. And the cooking... old school tasty and delicious food made from scratch which included almost every ingredient that we are warned not to eat these days. A reminder to all those health food fanatics out there that she lived to be 101... stick that in your fruit smoothies. A tremendous life lived that saw her share time with her great grandchildren, attend her son's 50th wedding anniversary and so much more that few get to experience. A better person for having known her, I'll miss my grandmother Rose. “Words are flowing out like endless rain into a paper cup, They slither while they pass, they slip away across the universe Pools of sorrow, waves of joy are drifting through my open mind…” Thanks for everything Grandma.....Rock on..... - Posted by: Craig Thullner (Grandson) on: May 17, 2014

  • Rose was a lovely, kind lady with whom we greatly enjoyed our times together...... even 101 years seems too soon for the really good ones! Take comfort knowing that she enjoyed life to the fullest. Our condolences to the entire Thullner family with a big support hug to Steve and Pat! Love to all!! - Posted by: John & Charlotte Rendall (Friend) on: May 17, 2014
