MAURICE LAFRENIERE It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Maurice Lafrenière, beloved husband of Gisèle (Comeau), dear father to Marc (Myoung-Hee Han), Monique Roukema, Guy (late Adriano Perotti) and Cécile Demeo-Lafrenière. Cherished Grandpapa to Riley and Danielle Roukema, Matthew Koziey-Lafrenière and Christian Demeo-Lafrenière. He was predeceased by his parents Clément and Cécelia Lafrenière, his brothers and sisters Emile (Jeanne), Bella (Claude Létienne), Cléophas O.M.I., Marie Thérèse (Gus Joyal), Edouard (Aurore), Flore (Jean Tétreault) and Donat. Survived by his siblings Anna Joyal (late Claude), Albert O.M.I., Jean B. (late Suzanne), and Agnès Heatherington (late Bill Kozielec) (late Jack Heatherington). Maurice was an amazing man that touched the lives of many. He was an accomplished and highly respected vocalist who always sang from his heart. He was loved dearly by all who knew him. Funeral services will be held at Saints-Martyrs-Canadiens, 289 Dussault Avenue on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3A 1P6. Cher M. Maurice, you have been in our thoughts and in our hearts for a while now while you were too ill to sing with us!... During our last practice, members of Sts-Martyrs-Canadiens Choir commented that M. Maurice (one of our best soloists) is now with our other choir members. He is singing to God with them on our behalf! M. Maurice knows that singing is "Praying twice"!...
