MALCOLM MACLEOD DAVIDSON June 26, 1926 - May 26, 2014 Malcolm passed away peacefully on Monday, May 26, 2014 surrounded by his family at Victoria Hospital at the age of 87. He is lovingly remembered and profoundly missed by his wife Sheila of 64 years, his sons Garry, David and Kevin (wife Linda) and grandchildren Katie and Scott. Malcolm is also mourned by his sisters Mary and Nancy and their families. Malcolm was born in Stony Mountain and loved the game of hockey. A highlight of his life was playing for the Wembley Monarchs and Wembley Lions in the British National Hockey League from 1948 - 1957. He fell in love with England and his wife Sheila; and they had two sons born there before returning to Canada. He also loved travelling and photography, and was the General Manager of Strains Cameras for many years. Malcolm had a great sense of humour and was a man that everyone liked. He always put his family and others before himself. At his request a private family service will be held. We would like to thank Dr. Permack and the wonderful staff at Victoria Hospital for their care and compassion. In Malcolm's memory, donations may be made to the Parkinson Society of Manitoba, 7-414 Westmount Drive, Winnipeg, R2J 1P2.
