ETHEL MAY KEITH
Date of Passing: May 19, 2014
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryETHEL MAY KEITH Peacefully, on May 19, 2014 our beloved Mom and Nanny passed away. Mom was an intelligent, independent, shy, loving person. She always saw the best in everyone. In 1969, after dad's (Arthur) sudden passing in 1967, Mom took over Ethel's Flower Shop. Her daughters Carole and Jackie joined her where she patiently taught us everything, from making a bow to managing the flower shop. We enjoyed 40 years of working together. Our auntie, Kay Mitchell, joined us helping out for many years. Mom is survived by her friend from her youth, our aunt Betty Keith. She is survived by her daughter Jackie Baronins; a son; eight grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Mom was a special aunt to many nieces and nephews. Mom was predeceased by her brothers and one sister; her son-in-law Robert Baronins and Carol Shaward her daughter; four nephews and one niece have predeceased her as well. Thank you to all the home care ladies who helped her live in her home for as long as possible. Thanks to the medical care givers in the St. Boniface Hospital and Poseiden Care Centre. Thank you to Pastor Brad Elliott. Mom was an animal lover, her "boys" Jordi and Toby meant the world to her. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to any animal rescue centre or charity of your choice. Interment and celebration of life have taken place. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements. www.gilbartfuneralhome.com

Sorry to hear of your passing, my beloved Grandmother (Nanny). No one told me about your death and I just found out via a google search, just like I found out about my Mom's (your daughter) passing. I hope I can see you in eternity. Love Rick. - Posted by: Richard Shaward (Grandson) on: Nov 18, 2015
