ROBERT NORMAN JULYAN October 7, 1917- May 24, 2014 With sadness we announce the passing of Norm on May 24, 2014. Norm was born in Oak River, MB. on October 7, 1917 to Penrose and Margaret Julyan. He was predeceased by his loving wife Helen in 2012; sons Kenneth in 1972 and Lyle in 1978; brothers, Edward, Bill and Arnold as well as his sister Louise. Left to mourn his memory are his son Murray (Sharon) his beloved grandchildren, Colton and Cassandra as well as the family dog, Lexx, many nieces, nephews and friends. Norm grew up in Oak River and farmed there for more than twenty years. They sold the farm in 1962 and he and Helen started their years of running three different grocery stores in Brandon, Alexander and Wawanesa. They moved to Portage La Prairie in 1971 and ran the ANAF#13 club for nine years. They moved to Winnipeg in 2004 to be with their grandchildren until his move to Middle Church Home in March. He will be reunited with Helen and both will be laid to rest in Oak River, MB. Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. from Mosaic Funeral Chapel 1839 Inkster Blvd. Winnipeg, MB.
