Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOZEF CIUPAK It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Jozef Ciupak on Friday, May 30, 2014 at the Selkirk General Hospital, with his family by his side. Jozef was born in Poland on October 11, 1925, and moved to Canada in 1958 with his wife and son. He farmed in Clandeboye, first with his father, then with his brother Stanley, and later with his son John until his retirement. He was predeceased by his parents Jan and Bronislawa, and his siblings, Janina, Victoria, and Stanley. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 65 years, Krystyna, and wonderful children, son John (Jadwiga), and daughter Alicja (Gary); together with two precious granddaughters Michelle, and Nicole, as well as numerous nephews and nieces in both Canada and Poland. The family would like to thank Dr. Demsas, and the staff at Selkirk General Hospital for their compassionate care. Viewing and prayers will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church in Petersfield at 12:00 noon. Mass will be said directly afterward at 1:00 p.m., celebrated by Father Boguslaw Wardzinski. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Suite 200-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6.
