Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRYAN TRENT DENEKA April 7, 1974 - May 27, 2014 It is with deep sadness the family announces the passing of Ryan Deneka on May 27, 2014 in Edmonton. He will be sadly missed and never forgotten by his wife Kim Lundell and stepchildren, Tyler and Aimee Lundell. He will also be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his mother Julia (Judy) Deneka; sisters, Karen Julius (James Carter) and Colleen Sangster (Paul Lavallee); brother Dwayne Deneka (Kelly); mother-in-law Donna Pearson; brother-in-law Al Pearson (Lindsay) and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was predeceased by his father Walter in 2001. Ryan was born, raised and educated in Winnipeg, attending Immaculate Heart of Mary and Tec Voc High Schools. Ryan had a tremendous zest for life and lived every minute to the fullest. He had unmeasurable courage and strength and his love ran deeply. He touched many lives and will be missed by everyone who met him. Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Interment will take place Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Okno West Community Cemetery in Okno, MB. The family would like to thank Dr. Isabelle Vonder Muhl and Dr. David Ross for their exemplary care over the past eight years and the staff of 3A7/3A8 for their compassionate care in putting up such a great fight for Ryan. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ryan's memory to The Mazenkowski Heart Institute at the University of Alberta Hospital. My sincerest Condolences to the Deneka Family on the loss of your Son. My Condolences to his wife, Kim & his Stepchildren. I first met Ryan back in 2009 when I lived in Cochrane, AB. We got to know each other over the next couple of years, especially when he lived in Calgary for a bit. The last time I saw him, we met for Supper when he was passing through Calgary - it was late Fall 2013 & he was so happy & told me all about Kim & the Kids. I will never forget how happy he looked! He literally had a great heart & always made me laugh :) May you Rest in Peace Ryan! There are no words to express the loss of your dear son and brother Ryan. The staff and students of IHMS have Ryan in their thoughts and prayers. Ryan was a young man who faced each challenge with his faith in God. We always enjoyed his visits and loved to hear of his success.
