GERALD PERCY HINTZ Suddenly at his residence, Gerald Percy Hintz, of Selkirk, MB passed away on June 9, 2014 at the age of 75. Gerald was born in Vanguard, SK, moved to Winnipeg and then settled in Selkirk. He was employed by the City of Selkirk for 37 years. Gerald is survived and lovingly remembered by Caroline, his wife of 47 years; son Wayne (Kirby), and grandson Shane. Gerald was predeceased by his daughter Geraldine; parents Olga and Carl Hintz; sisters Doreen and Margaret, and brother Allan. Gerald is also survived by brothers Willie, Melvin, Donald, Ricky, Leonard and Bobby; sisters Pauline, Flora, Dorothy, Betty and Leona; brother-in-law Edwin Sorlie of Selkirk, Claude Sorlie (Ursula) of St. Paul, NE; sister-in-law Pearl Goodmanson of Selkirk, and many nieces and nephews. As per Gerald's wishes, no formal service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
