For Bruce, Billy, Judy, Linda, Leslie and Coleen, I must admit I felt very weepy when I learned of the loss of your Mom, yesterday. She was a friend of fifty years, a good friend, one I didn't have to see every day, but knew she was there and I hope she felt the same way about me. In the 1950's on Walker Ave. we talked on the phone for at least an hour every morning, and most days I walked down for tea with her. I have many stories of experiences with your mom. We were both VERY pregnant and tried to coral one of Oak's calves with a rope. The calf brought both of us to our bottoms and Myrtle said, "I think we should let go of the rope!!!" As soon as we did, the calf walded over to us! She came to visit us in B.C. and every Xmas we exchanged a card and letter. I'll miss that letter this year. May God bless you and keep you, His light shine down upon you and give you peace. Sincerely, Dawn Southern, Lee, Theresa and Mark - Posted by: Dawn Southern (friend and neighbour) on: Jun 19, 2014

Deepest sympathy to Coleen, Bruce, Judy, Leslie and all other family members and friends. Myrtle has been a true friend, a caring mother, grandmother, sister and the one person who was able to unite the family by keeping track of everyone. She will be deeply missed by all, but never forgotten. We will keep her in our prayers. We are happy to know that she is no longer suffering and will now be awarded in heaven for all her good works. - Posted by: Genevieve & Marcel Perchotte (First cousin) on: Jun 13, 2014

Sorry to hear of your Mom / Grandmother's passing. She has left a great legacy to her family who she cherished dearly. I loved to hear Inez's stories of her Mom's wit and wisdom and her care and concern for others. - Posted by: Michael and Joanne Mayo (Cousin / family friend) on: Jun 12, 2014
