Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHRISTINE DEBETS (nee SOLTYSIK) On Wednesday, June 11, 2014, Christine Dabets passed away at the Seven Oaks General Hospital. Christine is survived by her brother John; and will be lovingly remembered by Douglas Coburn, her common-law partner of thirty years. A private ceremony will be held. Many thanks to the doctors and staff of Seven Oaks Hospital, as well as, the Cancer Society at the Health Sciences Centre. Cropo Funeral Chapel 204-586-8044

Chris had a beautiful soul. As a young woman she suffered much and tried to find her way through the complexities of her life dealing with her own family issues. Thank God that Doug entered her life to provide the unconditional love and support that Chris desired. Doug was her champion and hero for many years and deserves credit for his devotion to her care. I love Chris and I am so thankful that Doug was there to lift her up and sustain her throughout the time they shared. I feel so blessed to have known Chris and I wish her Godspeed in her passing. Thank you Doug for being the man and person that Chris needed in her life - you gave her a love she never knew previously and accepted her for all her unique beauty. God bless you.
