ALBERTO CORREIA DE VARGAS Alberto Correia de Vargas passed away at Lions Personal Care Centre on June 14, 2014 at the age of 91 years. Predeceased by his beloved wife Maria in 2010, he leaves behind his children Maria (Joao), Aurelio (Ilda), Jose (Barb), grandchildren John, Marko, Paul, Marcio, Jamie and Jessica. Alberto also leaves his sister-in-law Maria Aurora, as well as numerous family and friends in Cabode Pria, Terceira, Azores and Canada. Vigil Prayers will take place on Wednesday, June 18 2014 at 8:00 p.m. at the Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd. (corner of Inkster and Keewatin) the family requests that you join them for a reception following the prayers at the Mosaic Reception Centre. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin N. at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 19, 2014. Rev. Father Andre Lico Celebrant.
