GEORGETTE LANDRY (nee CARRIERE) With sorrow we announce the passing of Georgette Landry (nee Carriere), wife, mother and grandmother on June 18, 2014. She will be missed by all whose lives she touched. Left to lovingly remember her are her husband Paul of 53 years, children, Danielle (Gabriel), Tracy (Perry), grandchildren Holly (Charlie), Derek (Jess), Lindsay, Kristin (Morgan). Georgie grew up in Aubigny and married Paul in 1961. They settled on the family farm, where in her words "there was never a dull moment". Her greatest joys were family, friends and the simplest things in life. She marveled at the beauty of nature and cared for the many animals on the farm, including the strays that wandered there to live the good life. Mom was a kind and gentle soul who was never in a hurry. While she will be missed, we know she is now resting in the arms of angels. A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the St. Maurice Catholic Church, Morris. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Arrangements entrusted to: Morris Funeral Home 204-746-2451
