Dr. Lang was our family Dr for years but went some where else after he told my sister that she had a sist and treated her for it and never recommended that she go get more tests on it. We found out she had breast cancer and passed away from it. At least no more of Dr Lang diagnosis will happen to others. - Posted by: Deb (Patient) on: Mar 25, 2017

I'm shocked to find out today that he has passed. I have been in his care for 20 plus years along with my children. He was there for the birth of my twin boys and was always so greatful he could do that. I always saw him at the airport where I work and he always wanted to chat a bit. Last time he was with his daughter. He was always a good Dr to me and my kids and a great listener. I am so sad he is gone... he was a big part of my life. RIP Dr Lang - Posted by: Jeanette Tkachyk (Patient) on: Jul 30, 2014

It is with great sadness and shock that I learned of the passing of Dr. Lang, our family doctor for over 20 years. Since he and I were about the same age, and he seemed so fit, I was sure he would be my doctor for my whole life. But the universe had other plans for him, and he will be sorely missed by many here on earth. Our sincere condolences to his family, of whom he was so proud. - Posted by: Lilliane Fiola (patient) on: Jul 21, 2014

I am shocked to hear about the passing of my friend and doctor who looked after me for more than 30 years. He always made me feel as though I was his best friend, talking about golf, travelling or life in general. Reading the other comments, I see he had the same effect on every one of his patients. On a recent trip to Monte Carlo, I brought back a racing hat for him. He was very happy to put it on and we shared a few minutes talking about cars and racing. We talked about playing a round of golf soon and I told him he had to wear the hat. I'm deeply saddened to know this is not going to happen. I would like to offer my deepest condolences to his family on the loss of a truly wonderful man and doctor. May he rest in peace. Just today I heard of the passing of Dr. Lang and it seems unreal to me. About 15 years ago he told me the only way he'd take me on as a patient was if I quit smoking....I did and have followed all his orders since then. He was a source of much comfort for me when my brother died and we always had the best conversations. I will miss him deeply and send much love and support to his family. I will say a loving kindness meditation for you all. LAxo - Posted by: Laura Allard (Patient) on: Jul 12, 2014

I was among the fortunate people to be Dr. Lang's patient and friend. This news was a great shock. I remember his face lighting up when he spoke of his daughter going into medicine and hopefully taking over his clinic. Dr. Lang was a fine Doctor but a great man. He guided me through my cancer and was very influential in my taking early retirement. He is the only doctor that told me he was my friend and gave me the very best of care. Sharing golf stories was always a treat. He will be missed. - Posted by: David Manveiler (Doctor and Friend) on: Jul 12, 2014

I just leaned about Clem's sudden passing. I am in shock! He was my doctor and friend for about the past 12 years or so. He was a fine man and a good doctor who always took time to laugh and share his thoughts on some of the more important things in life. As he told me, life is short, you never know what tomorrow brings, so make sure you enjoy today and make the most of what life has to offer. He was a good example of that philosophy. My condolences to his family. - Posted by: Hal Ryckman (Patient) on: Jul 07, 2014

Clement was a long time friend and our family doctor for over 25 years. Having moved out of the province 2 years ago, we just today learned of his passing and are incredibly shocked to know that we will no longer be able to listen to his jokes and share special times with him as he helped us work through our physical troubles and mended us mentally along the way with his humour and caring way. We have so many wonderful memories of our Dr Clement from the stories of his trips, his family, his golfing, helping hang the blinds in the clinic to hearing him tell us we would be first time parents. He has made a positive impact and touched so many people in such a special way. He will always be remembered and loved and our hearts go out to his wife and family. Once the tears dry, may you be left with the warmth of his memories and love. My deepest condolences to the Lang family, his staff and anyone else whose lives he touched. I will always remember Dr. Lang as someone who never judged, and as someone who was genuinely interested in helping people. He paid it forward daily. Dr. Lang saw me through many 'negative' pregnancy tests... then finally, last year, told me I was pregnant. He cheered everyone on in their lives. Thank you for being a part of mine. You will be missed very, very much. - Posted by: Darcie Dunnigan (Patient) on: Jun 28, 2014

OUR DEEPEST CONDOLENCES TO THE LANG FAMILY. DR LANG WAS A TRUE TESTAMENT TO HUMAN KINDNESS AND THIS WAS EVIDENT WITH HIS LOVING AND CARING SPIRIT. THERE ARE FEW MEN IN THIS WORLD WHO TRULY POSSESS A GENUINE AND SINCERE SOUL AND HE WAS ONE OF THEM! HIS DEVOTION TO HIS PATIENTS WAS UNSTOPPABLE AND UNCANNY, HE WOULD STOP AT NOTHING TO MAKE SURE HIS PATIENTS HEALTH WAS HIS TOP PRIORITY. I HAD THE PRIVILEDGE OF BEING HIS PATIENT FOR THE PAST 30 YEARS AND MY DAUGHTER FOR HER ENTIRE LIFE OF 17 YEARS. NOT ONLY WAS HE AN AMAZING DOCTOR TO MYSELF AND MY DAUGHTER BUT MUCH MORE HE WAS A TRUE FRIEND. I NEVER THOUGHT OR EXPECTED THAT I WOULD BE ATTENDING HIS FUNERAL, I JUST ALWAYS FELT HE WOULD ALWAYS BE THERE AND PART OF OUR LIVES. AFTER ALL HE WAS A DOCTOR AND HE TOOK GREAT CARE OF HIMSELF. BUT GOD HAD OTHER PLANS FOR HIM. I THANK GOD FOR BLESSING US WITH THIS AMAZING MAN AND THE YEARS WE SHARED WITH HIM. HE WILL BE MISSED LIKE NO OTHER. MAY GOD BLESS YOU WITH ALL THE LOVE AND KINDNESS YOU DEMONSTRATED TO OUR FAMILIES THROUGHOUT THE YEARS. DR LANG YOU'VE EARNED YOUR PLACE IN HEAVEN WITH OUR LOVING FATHER AND MAY GOD SHOWER YOU WITH ETERNAL HAPPINESS YOU SO RICHLY DESERVE. REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND, GOD BLESS YOU! Clement was one of our exciting classmates from Grade 8 to 11 in St Louis School in Hong Kong. It is with deep sadness that he left us so suddenly. I wish I had put more effort to reconnect with Clement in the last 30+ years especially we reside in the same city. I wish I had done more to convince him to join our reunion in Toronto (2001), Houston (2006) and Hong Kong (2011). He will be remembered among us. More regrettably, I am unable to say good bye to him in person this Friday as I am currently out of town for a period of time. Condolences from all his former classmates and teachers from St Louis School. Rest in Peace, Clement. Dr. Lang was my doctor for more than 20 years and helped me through issues in my life, both physical and personal. He's the one who once said to me, "Life is not a dress rehearsal". I needed to hear that and it gave some real clarity to issues in my life and helped me move along in a new direction. Thanks friend--may you rest forever in peace. - Posted by: Herb Neufeld (patient/friend) on: Jun 25, 2014

We are deeply saddened and shocked to hear of Dr. Lang’s sudden passing. We’ve been patients of his for over 20 years in which he became more a friend than our doctor. He would always tell us….”don’t worry whatever is wrong I’ll make you better”, and he was always true to his word. We enjoyed hearing his stories about his dream of joining doctors without borders after his retirement or his short jaunts to a warmer place. We talked about him trying to do “job shadowing” especially for new doctors or even doctors coming into Canada. He talked about how worried he was about his Mom and Dad, also how proud he was of his children following his footsteps into medicine and the volunteering they do. Some people come into our lives, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never the same....Dr. Lang was one of those. He was always willing to help in anyway he could. Please accept our deepest condolences for your family's loss, we will miss him deeply. - Posted by: Gerry & Lydia Tanner (Patients) on: Jun 24, 2014

My sincere condolences to the family. He will be deeply missed. I felt more than a patient to him he cared deeply for my family and always had time to ask me how I was. I knew his advice was always looking out for what was best for us. The world will not be the same we have lost a very compassionate man who cared deeply for others and it always showed. He was a remarkable man with a heart that never stopped caring. He would tell me his plans of becoming a dr without borders in the future and how he worried for his patients when the time of retirement came as he cared that much. I will forever remember you as a true blessing in my life may God look after you now my friend. Forever loved, always remembered Keri - Posted by: Keri Rosevear (Patient / friend ) on: Jun 24, 2014
