ROBERT (BOB) WILLIAM BABIAK It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Robert (Bob) William Babiak on Friday, June 20, 2014 in Winnipeg, Manitoba at 72 years. Bob was predeceased by his parents, Nicholas and Anne Babiak, and niece, Cheryl Babiak. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 52 years, Adeline, son, Keith (Nadya), brother, Paul (Karen) as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Bob was born in Winnipeg on June 14, 1942 and moved to Fisher Branch at nine years old, eventually returning to Winnipeg to start a career. Bob worked for several years in heavy construction and trucking and retired after a lengthy career. Bob and Adeline married in 1962 and raised their family in St. Vital. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the family and friends who supported them through this difficult time. In keeping with Bob's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street.
